SV	En als hij hun den ingang der stad gewezen had, zo sloegen zij de stad met de scherpte des zwaards; maar dien man en zijn ganse huisgezin lieten zij gaan.
WLC	וַיַּרְאֵם֙ אֶת־מְבֹ֣וא הָעִ֔יר וַיַּכּ֥וּ אֶת־הָעִ֖יר לְפִי־חָ֑רֶב וְאֶת־הָאִ֥ישׁ וְאֶת־כָּל־מִשְׁפַּחְתֹּ֖ו שִׁלֵּֽחוּ׃
Trans.	wayyarə’ēm ’eṯ-məḇwō’ hā‘îr wayyakû ’eṯ-hā‘îr ləfî-ḥāreḇ wə’eṯ-hā’îš wə’eṯ-kāl-mišəp^aḥətwō šillēḥû:

AC	כה ויראם את מבוא העיר ויכו את העיר לפי חרב ואת האיש ואת כל משפחתו שלחו
ASV	And he showed them the entrance into the city; and they smote the city with the edge of the sword; but they let the man go and all his family.
BE	So he made clear to them the way into the town, and they put it to the sword; but they let the man and all his family get away safe.
